SIDESHOW - BLACK HORSE WORKSHOP
This summer I have been assisting Katie Fotis in the design and art direction of the Sideshow pavilion, an extension of the Black Horse Workshop space.
Sideshow is a brand new summer installation created in partnership with specialist regeneration company U+I to celebrate the maker culture of Walthamstow. It is situated on the original site (opposite Blackhorse Road tube) of the Associated Equipment Company, whose prototypes inspired the design of London’s iconic Routemaster bus.
The pop-up opened on the 16th August and will run until the end of December, the space is hosting a series of workshops, exhibitions and a giant interactive marble run, built from salvaged London bus components!
